This portfolio of wedding photography is a collection of the many moments, brides, grooms, families and celebrations I have photographed over the years.
As you can see from the gallery, I have photographed weddings at fancy hotels and small backyards, on the beach and in the mountains, from 500 guests to six guests. Regardless of the location or size of your event, my goal is to document it all – from the getting ready candids, to your first look and family portraits, ceremony and reception – I want to capture every moment.
It has been such a joy to photograph weddings at so many of the incredible wedding venues and the photos in this gallery represent locations all over the country. In Los Angeles, my favorite venues include the classic Bel-Air Bay Club with gorgeous ocean views in Pacific Palisades.
I also love working at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills, with its timeless elegance and helipad on the roof for portraits of the couple. Another popular venue is the Los Angeles Country Club, with its elegance and spectacular lawn.
The Jonathan Club in downtown Los Angeles has just the right combination of old Hollywood with the dark wood and classic architecture. For other beachside wedding hotels, I love Shutters and Casa del Mar in Santa Monica. Shutters with the New England, relaxed vibe and Casa del Mar’s more timeless feel with the elegant ballroom and floor to ceiling windows for ocean views.
There are also photos here of my favorite country club weddings, including Hillcrest Country Club and Brentwood Country Club, both with myriad photo ops. Sherwood Country Club is also a stunning location if you want a venue in the San Fernando Valley. Finally, the Beverly Hills Hotel never disappoints.
The choice of several ballrooms, private garden for the ceremony and impeccable service make it a favorite spot for all types of special events. Greystone Mansion is just down the road and has so many phenomenal photo spots that I could spend a whole day there doing portraits! Downtown Los Angeles has its share of more modern and hip wedding venues, including Seventh Place, Vibiana, Carondelet House and many others.
I also do many weddings in Santa Barbara, and favorite venues there include the gorgeous El Encanto Hotel tucked into the Santa Barbara Riviera, with stunning views of the ocean and an incredible spot for the ceremony overlooking a lily pond.
The Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara is also a dream for events, with lush, incomparable grounds that provide the perfect backdrop for family photos, romantic photos and of course, the ceremony itself. The Ritz Carlton Bacara is another one of my top wedding venue choices, with numerous options for the reception, from luxury ballrooms to the rotunda and outdoor reception space and outdoor patio.
The ceremony location at Bacara has a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean and is always magical. Moving inland, Santa Ynez provides spectacular vineyard wedding locales, from wineries to private estates. The barn at Coqulicot is just perfect for a wedding reception, as are the gorgeous vineyards.
I venture well beyond Southern California and have photographed destination weddings everywhere from Cabo at Las Ventanas and The One and Only Palmilla to Napa at Calistoga Ranch to Newport, Rhode Island at OceanCliff, Castle Hill and The Chanler.
I love to come for the entire weekend to photograph the rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, golf, bridal lunches - I've even photographed the bride and bridesmaids doing yoga on the morning of the wedding. A favorite weekend destination wedding in Newport included a yacht ride around the harbor, rehearsal dinner at the Tennis Hall of Fame and brunch harborside – absolute perfection!
In addition to the variety of venues and locations, I am inspired by the variety of cultures and traditions I have had the honor to photograph over the years.
It is truly special to photograph Jewish weddings under the chuppah and church weddings on the altar, Indian weddings replete with an elephant for the bharat, and Persian weddings with late night rose petals. I love the excitement of Orthodox Jewish weddings with the tisch and bedeken, as well as small courthouse weddings with just a few friends.
But most of all, I thrive on getting to know my clients and making sure that I capture the traditions and emotions, the family and friends, the love and commitment.
I have been privileged to be working as a photographer for the past 15 years and have photographed hundreds of events, each and every one unique and full of incredible moments to capture.
